Basic explanation of CNC machining

Numerical control processing refers to the processing that the control system issues instructions, and allows the tool to perform various movements that meet the requirements, and expresses the shape and size of the workpiece in the form of numbers and letters, as well as the processing requirements related to the processing technology.
CNC machining is widely referred to as the entire process of machining parts on CNC machine tools. This is a machine tool controlled by a computer. The computer used to control the machine tool, whether it is a special computer or a general-purpose computer, is collectively called a numerical control system. The movement and auxiliary actions of CNC machining are controlled by the instructions issued by the CNC system.
The instructions of the CNC system are compiled by the programmer according to the material of the workpiece, processing requirements, machine tool characteristics, and the instruction format (numerical control language or symbols) prescribed by the system.
The numerical control processing system sends out operation or termination information to other functional components such as the servo device according to the program instructions, so as to control various movements of the machine tool. When the part processing program ends, the machine tool will automatically stop.
For any kind of numerical control processing, if there is no input program instruction in the numerical control system, the numerical control processing cannot work. The controlled actions of the machine tool roughly include the start and stop of the machine tool; the start and stop of the spindle, the conversion of the rotation direction, and the speed; the direction, speed, and mode of the feed movement; the selection, length and radius compensation of the tool; the replacement of the tool, and the coolant Many operations such as opening and closing.
At the same time, the CNC machining center adopts fully enclosed protection, the working procedures are concentrated, and the processing process is continuous. Multiple tools can be used, and tool exchange can be performed automatically. Using multiple workbenches to automatically exchange workbenches, the CNC machining center has very powerful functions and tends to compound processing. And the CNC machining center also has high precision, high automation and high efficiency.
