Huawei released the Mate 30 Pro last year, but it took a long time to launch in overseas markets, and now this Android flagship without pre-installed Google services has finally landed in the UK market.
Huawei has announced that the Mate 30 Pro will be available exclusively at Carphone Warehouse on February 20 for £899 (approximately RMB 8,117).
After pre-registering, users will get a nice bundle that includes free Huawei FreeBuds 3 wireless earphones and a Huawei Watch GT2 watch, while supplies last. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is only available in Space Silver, and only in 4G.
Like other European regions, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in the UK market will not support Google Mobile Services (GMS). That means no Google Play Store, Search, Maps, Gmail, etc. Instead, the Mate 30 Pro will rely on Huawei’s own AppGallery store and Amazon’s app store.
In a smart move, Carphone Warehouse said it will provide Huawei Mate 30 Pro buyers with a “dedicated VIP support team” to guide them through the use of smartphones without GMS.
